Though I do see serious beauty in the aging process, to me, it’s all about aging gracefully. Instead of taking harsh measures, I’m in a state of doing simple techniques to keep myself looking youthful and fresh – all while loving myself through each stage. Since I know aging is such a hot topic and everyone wants to age as well as possible, today I’m sharing the anti-aging tips that I swear by. These are my secret practices that I keep in mind daily, and I promise, they work!
Facial massage
I’ve written before about my obsession with facial massages, and they’re actually one of my secrets for youthful skin. Since lymphatic and facial massages drain toxins, they keep skin looking healthy and happy. Simply do a massage once a day after applying your skincare routine. You won’t regret it!
Intensive hand cream
I pile on hand cream like it’s my job, as hands are one of the first place to show aging. Specifically, I live for AHAVA’s Dermud™ Intensive Hand Cream since it harnesses the power of the Dead Sea mud, some of the most mineral-rich mud on the planet. The hydration it gives is unlike no other, and it leaves my hands in tip-top shape with lasting protection. If you suffer from any sort of dryness, and whether you’re working on aging hands or not, this AHAVA product is simply the best that I’ve found!
Forget the straw
You know those little lines that we see forming around our mouths? Constant use of straws doesn’t help since your mouth is essentially being pulled. So, I skip the straws. If you’re worried about your teeth being stained, I figure teeth whitening is an easier fix than wrinkles.
Exfoliate décolletage
The face is a must when it comes to exfoliation, but so is this delicate area! Gently exfoliate once a week to leave your chest looking its best. I’ll even use a face mask on my neck and chest once a week for a full body treatment. For the masks I’m obsessed with most, read this post.
Fight tech neck
Yes, tech neck is a thing! From looking down at our phones and devices constantly, most of us are starting to see lines form on our necks earlier. Not cute, right? To fight tech neck, be conscious of the amount that you’re looking down at devices, or better yet, put them away more often. At the least, hold your phone up while scrolling through Instagram whenever possible.
