Elevating your style for Spring is as easy as swapping out your stilettos for a chic pair of wedges. Truth be told, there’s nothing sexier than a pair of skinnies with sky high stilettos, but Fall has claimed their stake on this signature style. So what’s the next best way to show off your stems as hems get higher? You guessed it, the wedge. So versatile, they can be worn with this season’s most sought-after silhouettes; from suede mini skirts to romantic maxis and the covetable culottes.
Unlike some of the fancy footwear trends that come and go season to season; like the flatform or the block heel, the wedge is a timeless season staple for me. I love everything from the classic cork to wood and leather. I also can’t get enough of an all over floral print – it’s a chic way to dress up a more casual look. Think Dolce & Gabbana florals with a white sundress like the one I’m wearing here. Adds the perfect pop of color. You can also pair with a bustier crop top and a pair of crop flare denim jeans.
