This season, Karl Lagerfeld proclaimed that the “Midriff is the new cleavage” – now that’s something I can work with! Since I’ve wasn’t endowed with the later, bearing the belly is something I’ve been exploring lately as you can clearly see here. Although terrifying at first I though; there has to be a way to do this without feeling like Brittany Spears circa 2001. The key is to pair a crop top with a high waisted trouser, like these Alexa Chung X AG Jeans or a skirt that sits at the knee. It will give a more modest look the exact amount of edge you’re looking for.
This outfit was inspired by my recent trip to Vegas for the fashion tradeshow, ENK. I had the incredible opportunity of being one of their official bloggers which meant lots of mingling with some amazing brands that were incredible to discover. From new brands to a few of my favorites like AG Jeans, Style Stalker and Tart Collection, this was my favorite trade show yet!
