As you guys know from my gender reveal, when I first found out that we are having a girl, every emotion that could possibly occur did. And shortly after that, the excitement set in that I could start shopping for a little girl! Admittedly, I have been shopping for little girls for 13+ years; my nieces are 13, 10, and 2, so whenever I see something sweet, I don’t hesitate before purchasing. I am so excited that it’s finally my turn to shop for my own little one!
Perhaps the first few purchases were not the most practical “newborn essentials,” but most definitely the cutest! Silk bow’s, frills, knits and crochet pieces have been calling my name as you have probably seen me sharing on my Instagram. All of these sweet heritage pieces I found on Bloomingdales. I fell in love with the sweet ditzy floral onesie, and the knit jacket – how precious are those buttons!
Yes, I know I may have gotten slightly carried away in the first few months. But with my baby shower on the horizon, I’ve started to think about all those essentials that bebe will be living in the first few weeks.
