One of the joys of living in such close proximity to the city is being able to have so many wonderful activities right at our fingertips. With the winter weather being unpredictable (and frankly unpleasant) we were itching to explore somewhere new to kick the rainy day blues.

Another way to brighten the blues of course is a good outfit! Above are some of my favorite picks for the family to keep us both dry and stylish.

Since being pregnant with Lucy while living in the city, I have dreamed of taking her to The American Museum of Natural History. Now being able to go with both of my girls and Freddie, it truly made for the perfect afternoon! We had an incredible time explore the many exhibits and being all together.

If you are in need of a rainy day activity, I cannot recommend The American Museum of Natural History enough to all of my friends with kids of any age, there is truly something there for everyone! And if you’ve already been, here are a few other spots on my list!
