Guilty as charged! My most recent splurge came while on a shopping trip to Nordstrom in search of a few goodies for my nieces. There’s a reason the shoe section is the first thing you see when walking in, so naturally, I took a leisurely stroll through. Like two tiny darts starring me in the eyes from across the room, these white Stuart Weitzman boots jumped out at me like they were made for me. In an attempt to maintain some self-control, I continued on my search for what it was I was there for, but if I love shoes so much, they will too….right?
Let’s get real for a minute. Who isn’t a shoe lover? It’s probably the easiest gift to give that everyone will love. A perfect pair of pointy toe boots for mom, loafers for dad, new running shoes for my sister, Uggs for the nieces, and just like that I’ve finished my Christmas shopping. Plus, in true Nordstrom fashion, they make things like buying online and picking up in store a cinch if you don’t want to deal with crowds, and e-gifting if you’re unsure of the perfect pair for someone special. Seriously, a Christmas miracle come true!
