If you read my post on how to dress up your jeans for date night, you know that I’ve been championing all things with square necklines. It’s on the sartorial agenda of many this Spring and wherever I look, the sweet silhouette is suddenly everywhere, especially on the trend pages of Nordstrom.com.
From spaghetti strap dresses to puff sleeves blouses, I love how the square neckline delicately highlights the shoulders and décolletage without being overtly racy. We can all thank Marie Antoinette for putting this look on our radar, and I’ve been filling my carts full of them for my upcoming trip to Italy.
If you’re anything like me, shopping online can be a little overwhelming if you don’t know where to start looking. In terms of designers who are paving the path for this look, I’d definitely start with cult favorite, Staud – my bag is also theirs, one of my favorites at the moment. Reformation also hits the mark with their summertime selection of square neckline dresses. And of course, my beloved Brock Collection, who paved the path for this trend last Fall.
