Our cozy seaside getaway, The Sea Roost Montauk, is a nautical beachside cottage that will make all of your #CottageCore dreams come true. Nestled in a lush private knoll just steps from the ocean, atop Hither Hills, sits one of the last remaining original fisherman cottages built in the 1940s. Upon entering the main house, yes there are two charming and rustic cottages on the property, you immediately think; who owns and designed this dreamy retreat!
Owners Matt Albiani and his partner Ron Brand are a power couple with a vision. Little secret? Their creativity doesn’t stop at Sea Roost, they also have a New England themed store in Santa Barbra called Mate Store. Their combine love for home and decor oozes from every corner of the property. It is truly a magical little oasis that we had the pleasure of calling home for four chilly January nights, cozied up by the fire. Just how I imagined spending my 35th Birthday.
I can’t even imagine what the Sea Roost must be like during the summer months. I may have heard a rumor it’s still available as a summer rental, Memorial Day through Labor Day. If you end up renting it, promise to invite me? I’ll bring the lobster from my favorite seafood spot in Amagansett, Stuart’s!
